St Raphaela’s Sensational Art Attack!
2020 is certainly a year to be different so when Maths Week arrived, we decided to be just that! The St Raphaela’s STEM Committee gave each class in the school a challenge – to create an Art Attack outside in the grounds of the school to illustrate a Mathematical concept.
After watching a few Art Attack videos, the girls’ excitement and enthusiasm was ignited and from then on there was no stopping them!
On Friday the 16th October – the immense passion for learning that all the St Raphaela’s students have was on show once again. Each class spent the morning proudly preparing their Art Attack outside to be ready on time for the afternoon Outdoor Gallery Walk.
Just some examples include a giant number 2 made with teddy bears, a beach scene made of 3D shapes and a gigantic bar chart made from classroom items!
What made the day even more special was a very generous parent who decided to make the school some drone footage of all the art attacks, see video link below to enjoy.
