Working together for a sustainable future

We have successfully completed and achieved FIVE Green School flags.

Flags achieved:

1. Litter and Waste
2. Energy
3. Water
4. Travel
5. BioDiversity (achieved in May 2024 – congratulations to our Green Schools Committee) 

In June 2024 we had a great BIO BLITZ where all classes were immersed in Biodiversity activities.

Green-Schools is Ireland’s leading environmental management and education programme for schools.

Promoting long-term, whole-school action for the environment Green-Schools is a student-led programme with involvement from the wider community. The programme is operated and co-ordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce.

Each year, classes nominate students to make our Green Schools Committee.
