St. Raphaela’s is a Catholic Primary Girls’ school, under the Trusteeship of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Patronage of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin.  

We have 16 mainstream classes, two of each class from Junior Infants to Sixth Class 

When considering our school for your child:

1. Familiarise yourself with our school, our ethos, our policies 

It is important that parents and guardians read the policies of the school and familiarise themselves with St. Raphaela’s Ethos, Code of Behaviour, Admission Policy, Child Protection Policy and Anti Bullying Policies BEFORE applying. These are available to you here: School Policies

If your child is offered a place, you will be required to sign a statement agreeing to support school policies as a condition of enrolment (see Admission Policy). 

2. Read the Admission Policy 

The Admission Policy provides all information on the school’s enrolment procedures: Admission Policy,  September 2020   If you have any questions on the above, please contact the school office by emailing: secretary@straphaelasns.ie 

3. Register your Interest!

Once you have all the information you require, and asked any questions you would like answered, we would be delighted to receive your  “Registration of Interest” form. You will need to submit a scanned copy of:

1. Proof of your  child’s current address (dated within the last two months) and
2. Your child’s Birth Certificate or Passport

Please note, submitting this form does not guarantee enrolment.

Applications for September 2024 are open from 1st October 2023.

Applications are processed throughout the rest of the school year in

line with our Admissions Policy

Applications for September 2024:

We will offer 50 places in Junior Infants in September 2024.

• Applications are open between 1st and 31st October 2023.
• The first round of offers will be issued by email by 10th November
• Acceptance of offers (with completed hard copy of materials) must be received and confirmed by the office by 20th November

Applications for all other class levels (Senior Infants- Sixth Class) for the school year 2024-2025 will also open on 1st October 2023.
